How Do I Love You? Let me count the days.

As a stay-at-home mom, it’s far too easy to let the chores and responsibilities take priority over spending time with my girls. Sure, we’re all home together, but the older two who are 4 years old and 2 years old play so well by them-selves that it’s easy for me to forget that they need time with me also. So, one of the ways I purposefully show them love is by reading to them. “There’s always time for books,” I’ve decided. It’s a rule that only exists inside my mind, I haven’t let them in on it, but it’s pretty firm. Any time they come to me with a book in their hands I will stop whatever I am doing and read to them.
I’ve decided to let our time reading together remind me to slow down.
Idea #10:
pick one thing, that your child asks of you regularly, to be a reminder to slow down and be with the person you love
