How Do I Love You? Let me count the days.

As a father it’s important to me that my girls always know I am present and available for them. I work a lot, so that makes the time I do spend with them precious to me. One of the things I like to do is to take them on Daddy Dates.
What I love about this is starting the tradition early. Our second daughter just turned two this last fall and now she gets to go on Daddy Dates, too. Our oldest gets excited for her and tells her how much fun it’s going to be, which is fun for me to see. I get this opportunity while they are young to let them know they matter to me. I think it also communicates how much I love their mom when I take her on dates, too. They know she’s going to have a good time and gets lots of love from their daddy because that’s what they experience for themselves.
Idea #9:
choose one of your children to invite out on a fun date with you
