How Do I Love You? Let me count the days.
[an excerpt from “How Do I Love You? Let me count the days.”]

Every night, after my husband and I read books and pray with our two year old daughter, we have a big family hug, and take turns kissing one another. Sometimes it lasts 5 minutes, as our daughter beams and laughs alternating between kissing mama, then papa, then she watches us kiss. Over and over. We are a family that says “I love you”dozens upon dozens of times a day, accompanied by hugs and kisses. My husband and I know the importance of being affectionate with oneanother in front of our child, so she knows that our home is a place of love and peace. And in making that our goal, our relationship has been greatly strengthened.
Idea #5:
choose one way to reassure your family members of your love each night at bedtime. create a special handshake or decide on a type of hug that you give each other
