walking…with a bike.
Grace loves to ride her bike.
Cocoa went along because she thought that would enhance this little date quite a bit.
Every kid thinks it’s the best ever to have a parent all to themselves.
A date doesn’t have to be complicated. It can be as simple as going for a walk while your child rides their bike.
It’s also the perfect chance to enjoy the oudoors and talk.
Not sure what to say on your date? (It’s okay, first dates can be that way.)
Here are a couple of fun topics of converstation:
What are your three best personality qualities?
What about your body or the way you look to you like the most?
Who is the meanest kid you know? Why?
Who is the nicest kid you know? Why?
What’s your favorite thing our family has done this year?
What would you do if you were invisible for a day?
What are you scared about these days?
What’s your favorite dream you hope comes true?

oh! A four leaf clover!! I would have loved dates with my dad! What a neat tradition to have in your family! Delightful images 🙂
Thank you, Brooke. I used to love dates with my dad. I think that’s one of the reasons I want my girls to have them, too. Do you see your dad very often?
precious pictures
Thanks, Rita! 🙂
Great shots. Some of my favorites at our house are of the kids snuggled on dad’s shoulder, too.
I absolutely agree!
Amazing pictures! Props to dad for taking the time to spend that crucial one on one time with his girl.
Hello Scott,
Took a look at your site and I’m so thrilled to see the work you’re doing to help dads be awesome to their daughters. I love that you’re sharing the message that dads are an integral part of a girl’s life. We need dads and I’m so grateful to you for your efforts and love that I have a husband who sees how important your message is!
