Remember when I talked about what happened 4 years ago?
Just after I posted about how powerful words can be for us, Mimika Cooney interviewed me and we got to talk about lots of great topics, including how I got to charging $10k for weddings and why I didn’t like it and how I feel about the photographer from 4 years ago.

Thank you, Mimika!
A huge thanks to Mimika for inviting me to her TV show! I’m so grateful for the opportunity to talk about living creative, meaningful, powerful lives. Lives that are by no means perfect but lives that are filled with learning and weak moments and courage and compassion for others and ourselves.

Thanks so much for such a fabulous blog post Davina, I’m honored you allowed me to share you incredible story. You rock!!!
I just had an opportunity to listen…sooooo good and so real. As you were paralyzed by outside criticism, I am paralyzed by internal criticism and self doubt…especially when it comes to my photography. I am hoping to push pass it, but man, it’s got a hold on me to the point where I’m not picking up my big camera anymore. Your Familyness Photography workshop looks amazing and am hoping to take it sometime. I truly enjoy following you!
