it’s the perfect night for a puzzle…
The rain has been drizzling down off and on all day long. It feels like a night to stay inside with blankets, a warm and cozy kitchen with something delicious baking, and a night of putting puzzles together.
Our favorites are the easy grasp Charles Wyscoki puzzles. They interlock perfectly and there are always some pretty paintings. They also feel do-able in an evening with 300 pieces (ages in our home: 7+). We love that the paintings are not so complicated and intricate that you want to be put out of your misery.
One year we bought a white swan puzzle on a white background or something crazy like that.
Let’s just say that swan never saw the light of day once we finished it.
White on white with only insignificant textures to distinguish between each piece is not our idea of good-time-puzzle.
Puzzles that you can do with a wide age group span in only an hour or two are a favorite around here.
