find your Christmas tree.
We have yet to get our Christmas tree. (this picture is last year’s search) We are completely behind. Is anyone else?
Today…tonight…this is it. No more waiting.
We will hunt through the Christmas tree farms and the big box stores and the Christmas tree lots in search of the perfect little tree to bring home.
We will drink hot chocolate. Even though it’s 57 degrees today.
The kids can’t wait. They keep asking what time it is and when we are leaving.
What little traditions do you have surrounding your Christmas tree hunt and decorating?
xoxo,
Davina

Have a fun time tree hunting! We always drive somewhere to cut down our own tree. There are some really fun places to go just about 1/2 hour away from our home. We sing Christmas carols on the way, naturally, and usually stop and have dinner together on our way home. Getting the tree is one of my favorite parts about Christmas.
One other tradition we’re starting is to not decorate until after Calvin’s birthday (he was born the day after Thanksgiving). I actually forgot about that this year in my excitement to get Christmas underway, and then felt bad when Cal had his Batman birthday celebration clashing with the green & red decorations. Oh well… I won’t forget next year!
We have a Christmas Tree farm here that the kids love. Going out to the mountains is what I’d really like to do one year soon, though! What a fun family tradition for your family. I can just see you all singing carols. 🙂
