a little thankfulness everyday…
I first saw this idea when Meredith Winn posted her first photo of the month on Instagram. (You can follow me here.) I love Instagram! It’s such a great way to share your life with family and friends. I’d love for you to join me.
30 Days of Gratitude is the chance to take a picture every day. A photograph that is a representation of something…someone…some moment…that you’re grateful is part of your everyday, moment-to-moment life.
Some of the things I’m grateful for:
*walks in the woods with my kids
*a pink lamp that reminds me of happy memories during our first week of living in South Carolina
*cozy, sick days with Miss Grace
*the view I see on my way home from sprints each morning
More 30 Days of Gratitude:
*my girls, who are sister friends
*swirly straws that make all drinks taste better (and my hot husband)
*my Girls on the Run girls…I’m so proud of them
*a girl who is quirky and confident not matter what other people may say or do
This month is the perfect time to start this project.
And even though we’re part way into it…it’s not too late. You can start your own personal project…there are even some gratitude prompts here that can get you started.
If you’d like to include your family in 30 Days of Gratitude here are a couple of ideas for you:
*have everyone fill a jar each day with something that they’re grateful for…read them outloud at the dinner table on the last day of the month
*use colorful post-it notes and make a paper quilt on your wall with each post-it containing one thing you’re grateful for
What Gratitude Project have you been doing this month?
I want to hear about it! Tell me in the comments below…and if you have a link leave it for me to check out. I want to see!!
Happiness,
Davina
